Chocolate Sauce For Dry Skin
Don't worry, you won't need to open your box of chocolates to make this treatment. You will only need a few spoons of cocoa powder. Besides its delicious aroma, the chocolate massage I'm going to show you will soften your skin. Cocoa butter is indeed an efficient moisturizer for dry skin. Moreover, your joints will also benefit from this chocolate massage.
To make your chocolate massage, you will need:
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
In a saucepan, mix the cocoa powder and the hot water. Leave the mixture to cool a little bit and apply the chocolate sauce on your body with a spatula. The chocolate should be warm, but not too warm (don't burn yourself...). Apply the mixture on your back, shoulder, buttocks and joints. Avoid your legs and breast which are more sensitive to heat. Massage in circular motions. The chocolate sauce hardens when it cools down. When you won't be able to spread the mixture anymore, rinse yourself in the shower.
To relieve joint pain, spread this chocolate sauce on your joints and cover with a gauze compress. Then put a hot-water bottle on the gauze for about 20 minutes;
After your chocolate massage, you will smell of chocolate for several hours. If you want to prolong this pleasure, you can apply a chocolate moisturizing body butter after your bath or shower everyday.
